The company
A wholesale house, not a marketplace.
We take title to the stock, hold it, and stand behind it. That is the whole difference between a distributor and a middleman.
Sufal Commercial has been trading since 2020 out of Kolkata. The work is wholesale in the plain sense: buying deep from brand principals and breaking it down for the buyers of this city — a bakery on Park Street, a chain buyer in Salt Lake, a canteen in Howrah.
The line card runs to 34 brands across 9 categories. Some of it is ambient and forgiving. A good part of it — cream, butter, cheese, frozen appetisers, couverture — is not. Those move under temperature control from our Sealdah warehouse, because a broken cold chain is not a discount, it is a write-off.
How we work
Buyers are put on a route and a day. Orders are picked against a standing list, despatched with a GST tax invoice carrying the correct HSN, and settled on terms agreed per account. Institutional buyers can run against a rate contract instead of quoting each time.
We supply hotels, restaurants and cafés; bakeries and cloud kitchens; modern trade chains; the general trade of the Kolkata bazaars; and institutional canteens and caterers. The rhythm of each is different, and we do not pretend otherwise.
If you're a brand principal
We are open to adding lines where we can actually build the market — not just warehouse it. If you're evaluating distribution for East India, write to us and we'll share coverage, outlet counts and the categories we already run.
